The Diablo Regional Arts Association’s Arts Access program has received incredible financial support from community business partners and individual donors, allowing DRAA to provide children at schools with limited financial resources the opportunity to experience high-quality professional performances and exhibits at the Lesher Center for the Arts. These children will be introduced to new and creative ways of viewing the world through live performances and artistic exhibits, using their natural inclination for curiosity and creativity. Please call us at 925.932.1731 or send an email to artsaccess@draa.org for more information about how your school can benefit from DRAA's Arts Access.

About DRAA

The Diablo Regional Arts Association (DRAA), the funding arm for the Lesher Center for the Arts (LCA), is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the quality of artistic programming within the LCA and to creating avenues for everyone to enjoy the arts. Please visit our main website at www.draa.org for more information about us.

Accessibility

All venues at the Lesher Center for the Arts are wheelchair accessible. There are a limited number of wheelchair-accessible seats available. Please note on registration form how many wheelchairs need to be accommodated. We request that there be an attendant for each wheelchair patron. We will inform you of the number available once we receive your application.

Chaperones

Chaperones will be accommodated for free or at a discounted price.

Changes/Cancellations

Our staff and volunteers work hard to raise funds through business partnerships and individual donors so that we can offer these opportunities for local students and teachers who may not be able to afford to attend performances at the Lesher Center for the Arts. We ask that you honor your commitment to a performance date, or cancel in advance to make this opportunity available to another group.

All changes and cancellations must be made at least one month prior to the performance date so that these tickets can be made available to other interested schools or groups. If this deadline is not met, responsible parties may be charged the original invoice amount.

Seating

  • Seating will be assigned by the Lesher Center for the Arts based on registration date, age group of attendees and accessibility needs.
  • Upon arrival at the performance, the contact person must check in with the Arts Access representative waiting outside the theatre. Each attendee must have a ticket in-hand upon entering the theatre. Ushers will scan tickets at the door and direct the group to their seats.
  • If bringing an infant, please inform the ushers so we may seat you near an aisle. Infants and toddlers are only permitted in shows that are age-appropriate for preschool and kindergarten.
