We’re committed to excellence across all art forms. In addition to investing in professional groups like Center REPertory Company, Smuin Ballet, California Symphony, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, and the Bedford Gallery, DRAA presents our very own productions. This year, we are excited to present Country Artist Mark Mackay, the 4th annual College Notes A Cappella, Jazz at the Lesher Center Concert Series, Bay Area headliners and more. Your gift helps bring the very best talent to our stages.

This summer, we presented the 8th annual Jazz at the Lesher Center Concert Series with the incredible talents of Veronica Swift and the Emmet Cohen Trio, Anat Cohen Tentet, Monty Alexander and the Harlem-Kingston Express, and the Messenger Legacy Band. Stay tuned for announcements for next year’s series, which will take place July 25-August 22, 2020!
An uninhibited guitarist with songwriting seeped in storytelling authenticity, Mark Mackay finds himself at the crossroads of country and rock n’ roll illustrated in his all-consuming performance.
These incredible schools participated in Kaiser Permanente College Notes in 2019: Vanderbilt University, Berklee College of Music, Claremont Colleges, Northeastern University, University of Oregon, and University of Southern California. In addition to 2 nights of stellar performances, these groups led workshops for local high school students in Contra Costa County, opening up a dialogue about their college experiences, mental well-being, and music. Mark your calendars on February 28-29, 2020 for the return of Kaiser Permanente Colleges Notes!
DRAA is proud to support these additional events taking place at the Lesher Center and within our community.
