Sponsorships although diverse
in nature share one thing in common - the desire to enrich our community
through the arts. Moreover, the benefits derived by each business from
its contribution to the arts and to the community are very similar. These
include:

relations/entertainment, realizing business and philanthropic goals,

Among the businesses that partner with DRAA through Sponsorships are:
Chevron: As
a passionate supporter of the arts, Chevron has
been steadfast in promoting artistic excellence at the Dean
Lesher Regional Center for the Arts (DLRCA) for over
twenty years. The company believes our community deserves a high caliber
performing arts center and has put its money behind making sure that
the DLRCA is just that. They were a major donor to the capital campaign
to build the DLRCA and since it opened Chevron has
been a major sponsor for Center
REPertory’s productions
including Pump Boys and Dinettes, Senior Class and Picasso at the Lapine
Agil. Chevron has
also played an instrumental role in positioning the Diablo Regional Arts
Association as the leading community funder for the arts as the Signature
Sponsor for DRAA’s annual gala, On Broadway, for
the past five years and through an organizational effectiveness grant.

Washington Mutual: For
over five years Washington
Mutual has worked closely with DRAA to enrich the arts in our region. The
company has been an avid supporter of children’s programs and of
the Business Alliance for the Arts Program during
this partnership. In
2005 Washington
Mutual sponsored Center
REPertory’s award winning production of A Christmas Carol with
the main focus being on getting children to performances. The sponsorship
pre-party package was used by the company for its holiday staff party. In
addition, the company was a “Gold
Sponsor” of DRAA’s
annual gala On Broadway. Not only
did the company participate as a sponsor of the event, but Washington
Mutual employees
served as volunteers for the event as well.

Target: Target has
been partnering with DRAA to support the arts in our community for
over eleven years. To Target ,
making the arts more accessible and affordable to children and families
is of the utmost importance and the company has worked creatively with
DRAA to develop programs to meet that goal.Target has
also been very active in supporting business through DRAA’s Business
Alliance for the Arts Program and in supporting DRAA’s
annual gala On
Broadway. In 2005 Target was the Proud Sponsor of theTarget
Family Matinee Series for Center
REPertory Theatre. The
Matinee Series took place on the first Sunday of each Center
REPertory production. Special
ticket discounts were given to families. In addition, Target
was a “Gold Sponsor” of
On Broadway.

McGuire Harley-Davidson: McGuire Harley-Davidson has
been one of the most substantial supporters of the arts in our area over
the past four years. Having
helped DRAA generate over $100,000 for the arts through his support
of DRAA’s annual gala On Broadway,
owner Mike McGuire has truly been an inspiration to all. Not
only has he been the Presenting Raffle
Sponsor for On Broadway for
the past four years, but he has allowed DRAA to display a gorgeous
Harley in the DLRCA lobby
each year prior to On Broadway. Furthermore,
McGuire also attends the event and has his hand held high to bid on
many of the fabulous items at the On
Broadway.

Tiffany and Co. Tiffany
and Co. has been
an enthusiastic supporter of the arts since it opened its doors in Walnut
Creek three years ago. The company honored DRAA
as one of the beneficiaries at the grand opening of its Walnut Creek
flagship store in 2003. In 2004 the company donated stunning diamond
earrings to be auctioned in the live auction at DRAA’s annual
gala On
Broadway, and in 2005 Tiffany
and Co. was one of the Presenting
Raffle Sponsors for the event. In September 2006, the company
will be hosting DRAA’s annual major donor
event.

Gene Schick Company:
This company has worked closely with DRAA to develop a partnership
that benefits a multitude of audiences. The Gene
Schick Company has
provided DRAA with new and exciting opportunities every year for the
past three years for exclusive special events featuring
famous chefs along with fabulous food and beverages. These special “sign-up” events are
available only to attendees of DRAA’s annual gala, On
Broadway, and
are available to only a limited number of people. The Gene
Schick Company,
parent company of Viking
products,
has also worked with DRAA for the past three years as a donor of extraordinary
Viking products for the On Broadway live
auction.

Greater Bay Bank: Greater
Bay Bank’s
partnership with DRAA and dedication to supporting the arts has been going
strong for over seven years. One of the businesses main goals is to give
back to the community. To demonstrate that commitment, the bank has sponsored
the DRAA annual Honorary Producers
for the Arts Luncheon, a component
of DRAA’s Business Alliance of the Arts
Program, since it opened its
doors for business in Walnut Creek seven years ago. Additionally, Greater
Bay Bank has
been a Gold Sponsor of
DRAA’s annual gala, On Broadway,
for the past seven years.

Morgan Miller Blair:
This local law firm celebrated its 20th Anniversary as the Sponsor of
the Bedford Galley
Local Voices Exhibition. This exhibition provided the firm with an opportunity
to celebrate local artists. Morgan
Miller Blair was
also a “table sponsor”
for DRAA’s annual gala On Broadwayin
2005.
