DRAA’s Honorary Producers Luncheon is an annual event where business
leaders are honored for their contributions to the arts. Held “on-stage” in
the Hofmann Theatre at the
Lesher Center for the Arts , the gourmet luncheon offers
attendees the unique opportunity to network with peers and to enjoy private
performances from arts groups funded by DRAA. In addition, attendees hear
from dynamic business leaders who share their experiences about the benefits
they receive from successful partnerships with DRAA.
The eleventh annual Honorary Producers Luncheon took place March 5, 2008. Sponsored by Chevron and First Republic Bank, the event was attended by more
than seventy prominent business leaders from more than 20 businesses. Private
performances from Contra
Costa Musical Theater’s production of Cinderella, DLOC's Man of La Mancha , and Center
REPertory Company’s Hank Williams: Lost Highway , showcased the event. Attendees were briefed on the
future of the arts by LCA General Manager Scott Denison, DRAA Executive Director Peggy White, Event Chairs Gary Fisher and Angie Coffee,
DRAA President Gil Berkeley and Chairman of DRAA Development Kevin Sánchez. View photos and info from the 2007 event.
The
Honorary Producers Luncheon is a component of DRAA’s Business
Alliance for the Arts Program.
This program allows businesses of all sizes to support the arts. As part
of the program DRAA works with businesses throughout the region to develop
strategic alliances with arts producers that best meet their business
objectives and that yield exceptional philanthropic and marketing benefits.
The goal of the program is to create mutually beneficial enduring partnerships. Sponsorship opportunities
